A certificate of Original is a shipping document. It is usually to meet customs or trade requirements.

Most countries have different customs duty rates for imported goods from different countries. Sometimes, some countries will provide different tariff rates based on whether you have a C/O.

The products made and exported from China can have the original certificate of China. When importing goods from China, you can check with your local customs authority to see if you just need a C/O or if you can benefit from getting a proper C/O. Form E: “CHINA-ASEAN Free Trade Area Preferential Certificate of Origin.” CIQ issued it. Helpful in exporting goods to Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Form F: Issued by China Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and only beneficial for Chile.

Form P: Issued by China Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and only valid for Pakistan.

Form RCEP: Useful for exporting goods to the countries that signed the “Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.”
